Brief Route Description:
This route is recommend for those that are looking for a very economical way of traveling to Futaleufu. It is a great way to get a kayak to Futaleufu. They will load it on the bus, and it will arrive with you to Futaleufu. We also recommend this route for employees that are arriving to Futaleufu to work with us. Some patience and  knowledge of Spanish is helpful on this route.

Important Arrival Information:
Upon arriving in Santiago on Thursday you may have some time to visit Santiago. There are storage areas at the bus terminal to store your luggage before the evening bus departs to Osorno.  Be careful to watch your bags in the bus station while waiting for the bus.

Ground Transport:
Purchase a bus ticket online for a bus that arrives in Osorno around 6 a.m. so you have time to connect at 7 a.m. at the terminal to the bus Trans Austral Friday morning to Futaleufu.  You can purchase the bus ticket from Santiago to Puerto Montt online using the link below. The ticket for Osorno to Futaleufu can be reserved over the phone and paid for on the bus. You may need some spanish. Our office can help you.

Return departs Futaleufu on early Sunday morning arriving in  Osorno around 8 pm. You can connect on an evening bus to Santiago.  Make the reserve no earlier than 10 p.m. for the bus to Santiago. This gives you plenty of time for the connection.Ground Transport Santiago to Futualeufu.
