Bob
Vranich (Canada) Raft Guide
and Kayak Guide
Following advice from Confucius regarding work
and happiness, Bob quickly transformed his passion
for whitewater into a unique and adventurous
lifestyle. This whitewater enthusiast started
his rafting and kayaking career after graduating
from the University of Toronto and since then
has managed to work and paddle in over ten countries
on three continents worldwide. From first descents
in Guatemala, Burma, and India to other exotic
adventures in Nepal, Mexico, and Costa Rica,
Bob still maintains an affinity for his home
country of Canada and the mighty Ottawa River
where he first learned how to paddle. Bob has
over six years of whitewater experience on over
sixty-five rivers worldwide. He´s a Wilderness
First Responder, Swiftwater Rescue Technician,
and kayak instructor. When not on the river
you´ll most likely find Bob reading about
world history, taking long sunset walks on the
beach, or enjoying a candle-lit dinner with
a special lady.
